Protein May Help Doctors Predict Breast Cancer Outcome
Common Blood Thinner Curbs Cancer Spread in Mice
Just a note. My biopsy was rescheduled for tomorrow. Mom is down today. We went out to lunch
with Rick and did some straightening in the kitchen. Mom napped while I hopped in the pool -
88 degrees today! Beauty! I'm hoping that I won't have to restrict my swimming more than a few
days after the biopsy.
Rick is pretty sure that I won't escape tomorrow without having a needle poked in me. The
window on doing the biopsy with contrast is so short that he's sure they'll put the needle in
as close to where they think it is as possible, put me in the scanner and start it up before
injecting the contrast. He thinks it's the only way they could possibly do it. Bummer! I'd
love to get out of there again with no new holes. I know for sure that I don't want them
doing the random sampling thing they talked about last week. That's a lot more bleeding and
pain with no guarantee of payoff. I can't see doing that. Anyway, we'll see tomorrow.

I'm doing the dance of joy today! They gave me the contrast and still no lesion! The
radiologist I had today said that unless they could see something, he wasn't doing anything.
So no needle in the liver today and no biopsy! And best of all, no lesion!
So many people around the world have been praying for me. I've had a prayer placed for me
in the Wall in Jerusalem. I've had hands laid on me. I've had people and churches around the
world praying for me. Candles lit for me at Catholic churches and shrines. A number of people
told me that they were sure that this would turn out for the best, that all the prayers would
be answered. Well, they were! God is good!
